The edges of a system can reveal what its centre cannot see. South Stars seeks out the ideas and leadership that emerge from these corners, not to bring them into existing systems unchanged, but to create opportunities for them to challenge, influence and reshape those systems.
Some of the most transformative climate leadership is taking place in the Global Majority outside of established institutions or centres of global climate discourse. It emerges from communities, movements, and people who see problems differently because they experience them differently.
The Troublemakers is focused on Global Majority climate leaders working outside of organisational spaces with bold questions, experiments, new organising models, campaigns, stories and ideas that challenge what is considered possible.
