3. Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, the content published on the Website—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, publications, reports, designs and other materials—is owned by or licensed to CLI and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The content is provided for general information, educational and public-interest purposes.

You may view, download or share publicly available materials for personal, educational, research, advocacy or other non-commercial purposes, provided that:

  • you do not alter the content in a misleading manner;

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and up to date.

However, information may occasionally contain errors, omissions or outdated material. We do not guarantee that all information on the Website is complete, accurate, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Programme and application information

Information published on the Website about CLI programmes, fellowships, opportunities, events or applications is provided for general informational purposes.

Publication of information about a programme or opportunity does not constitute a guarantee that an individual will be accepted, selected, funded, employed or otherwise engaged by CLI.

Where a particular programme or opportunity has additional eligibility criteria, application terms or conditions, those requirements will apply in addition to these Terms.

9. Availability and security

We aim to keep the Website available and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors, vulnerabilities or harmful components.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website without notice where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CLI will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Website or reliance on information published on it.

This includes, where legally permissible, loss arising from reliance on information, external websites, third-party services or content accessed through the Website.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of the rights of CLI or a third party.

13. Privacy and cookies
